Can you create a beautiful Smokey Eye Makeup in just 5 minutes? Of course! ChicGlint shows you how to do just that in this quick and easy eye makeup tutorial. The result is a perfect party look using products specifically designed for faces over 50
Introduction
Before we begin, I’ve already done all my makeup except for my eyes, and I’ve set a timer for five minutes to complete the eye makeup.
Step 1: Eye Prime
First, I’ll use my eye prime to smooth out my eyelids. I take a tiny amount and apply it to clean, dry, oil-free eyelids using my concealer brush number four. This helps disguise any discoloration or veins and ensures my eye makeup stays on all day.
Step 2: Lightest Shade
Next, I’ll apply the lightest shade, Soft Gray, from the No Shimmer Matte Eyeshadow. Using the eyeshadow blender brush, I apply it all over my eyelid, just above the socket area. This soft gray creates a nice base for the smokey eye look.
Step 3: Middle Color
Moving on to step three, I’ll use the middle color. I apply it just above my socket line and in the socket line, blending it in a number seven shape. This adds depth to the look.
Step 4: Darkest Color
For step four, I’ll use the darkest color, like chocolate, to create the effect of eyeliner. Using my wedge brush, I apply it softly from out to in, winging it up slightly. I also apply it underneath for a more defined look.
Step 5: Mascara
Finally, step five is applying mascara. I use black waterproof mascara, wiggling it through the base of my lashes and ensuring to coat all lashes evenly. I also apply a bit underneath for added definition.
Final Touches
With just a few seconds left, I clean up any mess and intensify the smokey look by adding more charcoal on the socket line. I adjust the eyeliner if needed for a perfect finish.
Conclusion
And there you have it! Five steps to a smokey eye in under five minutes using the No Shimmer Eyeshadow from ChicGlint. I hope you’ve enjoyed this tutorial!
